Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to say that ALL REWARDS HAVE SHIPPED! I've already started sending out tracking numbers to those of you who purchased the priority shipping upgrades and will finish sending them out to everyone this weekend. Everyone should receive their packages by the end of the month or sooner.

I know shipping took a few weeks longer than expected, but that's because I've been working diligently with my printer in Toronto to establish their full-service printing & shipping process. Since I'm the first customer of theirs to request such a service, we had to work through a few challenges. It was tricky at times, but WE DID IT, and now they can be a one-stop-shop for my future comic campaigns.

Graphic Novels Look Amazing And Ship Out This Week!

Hi Everyone,

Great News! The binding for the graphic novels is complete and they look Amazing! Shipping for all rewards starts this week and I will notify everyone when it is complete.

After reviewing all your comments and messages throughout this campaign, I thought about what could have been improved and I came up with the following points.

Lessons Learned from this Campaign

• Don't offer stretch goals that significantly change the cost of shipping.
• Ensure consistency between Add-ons offered in the Kickstarter campaign and Add-ons available in the Backerkit survey.
• Be explicitly clear when offering priority shipping upgrades, specifically regarding geographical price differences.
• Ensure that purchasing Add-ons does not drastically increase the shipping charges.
•  SIMPLIFY THE SHIPPING CHARGE PROCESS! 

I am determined to improve in these areas and I've already decided to offer you, my loyal backers, a break on shipping in my next Kickstarter campaign. Keep reading to find out how!

Campaign Rewards Shipping Next Week!

Hi Everyone,

Hope all of you had a good start to 2020. I did, but it was a bit of a struggle going back to work after the Christmas holidays. However, I’m back in the swing of things now and looking forward to completing fulfillment of this campaign. I spoke to the printer on Friday and here’s their latest status: Printing is complete, binding is finishing this week and they plan to start shipping packages out next week!

Now that fulfillment of this campaign is almost complete, preparations for my next campaign have kicked into overdrive! The first 20 pages of the story are complete and I’ve even received most of the artwork for the variant covers/pinups and THEY LOOK AMAZING! As I mentioned last update, I’ve hired some top-tier talent from the comics industry to contribute to this campaign, including Chad Hardin, who has done work for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and Boom!

Here’s a sample of Chad’s art that will be available in the Hildebrand Valkyrie campaign, launching on Kickstarter, Feb 25th.

Signed 11x17” prints of this exclusive variant cover by Chad Hardin will be offered in this campaign. However, there will only be 20 copies available, so if you’re a Chad Hardin fan, remember to PLEDGE EARLY!

Download Links To Digital Rewards Have Been Sent Out!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday so far. I certainly have! It's been crazy busy around my household this past week, as it probably has been for most of you as well. Lots has happened with the campaign fulfillment process lately, so I figured I should give you all an update as we approach New Year's eve.

I sent out the download links for all the digital rewards via Backerkit last night. I noticed that there were a few digital backers that didn't respond to the survey, so if you didn't received an email from Backerkit last night, let me know and I will send you the download links directly.

There was a delay with the printing and the printer I use in Toronto was not able to finish the print run before Christmas. However, they offered to send out all the packages from their office directly, so there shouldn't be too much of a delay. They are planning to start sending out packages in a couple weeks, so the delivery dates should only be delayed by a week or two. 

Preparations for my next campaign are progressing nicely. The first 20 pages of my Hildebrand Valkyrie comic are complete and I've hired some great artists to do pinup art. In fact, I've already received the first black & white pinup illustration and it looks FANTASTIC! It's drawn by Creees (Hyunsung Lee), who has done sequential art for Dynamite and variant covers for for Image, IDW, and DC Comics. Check it out below.

Surveys lock tomorrow!

Hi Everyone,

The Backerkit surveys will lock tomorrow! At this point 91% of the surveys have been completed, so there are still a few of you that need to respond. Reminders have been sent in the last couple of days to everyone who still needs to complete a survey, so if you don't recall receiving any emails from Backerkit, try checking your Junk folder. The Backerkit page will stay active for a while longer, but if you want your rewards to ship the first week of January, then we need your info by tomorrow!

For those of you who pledged for digital rewards, download links will be sent out via Backerkit before Christmas. Send me a message if you don't receive download links by then and I can email you directly with the links.
